I get the joke with those two, but they were definitely reaching for lyrics at that point.

It's not that kind of test.

The art on Peter David's X-Factor run has generally been solid, but the Jae Lee issues are great.

Lee's art is great, but waaaaay out of place in that crossover. You got Andy Kubert and Brandon Peterson doing their best Jim Lee impressions, Greg Capullo doing his best McFarlane impression, then Jae Lee doing his dark and moody thing which is so different from those.

Reading those 90s X-Men crossover stories is an exercise in whiplash. I was re-reading the end of New Mutants not too long ago, and going from trudging through Leifeld's awful art to Jim Lee's cleaner style is like a literal breath of fresh air. A little break for your weary eyes.

Loving Tyler Crook's The Lonesome Hunters.

Not only is the art great, but the primary antagonists are a group of mystical magpies which I find very appealing.

Honestly I actually like that panel. It's exaggerated but it hits exactly the look its going for.

If you can look up Stokoe and the way he holds his pencil when drawing. Dude has some weird super power of drawing in the weirdest way and getting amazing art out of it.

Ok class, today we're going to learn how to hold a pencil. It's too bad James is out sick, he was so looking forward to this but I'm sure he'll be fine.
