The Smithsonian had a wonderful exhibit on synapsids before you get to the dinosaurs. Here's our proud, majestic Dimetrodon  Here's a little diorama they had with a bunch of Demetrodon bros vibing  Hey AARD VARKMAN, what's that on the right there?

I ran that prompt through DALL-E 2 a few times and it has real trouble with dimetrodon heads. Makes sense though because they vary so much in random art  also this one
