When I was 17, my father was so stupid, I didn't want to be seen with him in public. When I was 24, I was amazed at how much the old man had learned in just 7 years.
Ultra is pretty cool but as a crippled poor I would not be able to use most of this. I hope the waypoint thing trickles down though since I do occasionally leave the road.

Garmin is mostly l1 gps+ galileo+glonass.

They have GPS but no, they don’t have PLB or any SOS tools. Those need satellite functionality.
