To turn it around, two female friends of mine were on holiday in Sweden, and one loudly remarked to the other "Ich bin total kn�lle!" ("I'm completely drunk" in some German dialects).
After getting some strange looks, they were politely informed that the Swedish have a word called "knulla", which is pronounced the same way.
