I'm listening to the shadow hearts soundtrack again because it is incredibly good. Something I noticed is that a fair amount of the songs make use of reversed sounds/instruments, like parts of the music will be going forwards and other parts will be going in reverse at the same time. Is there a name for that specific kind of music thing? Like how leitmotif refers to a particular repeated tune across several pieces, is there a term for music that makes heavy use of reversed instrumentation? I bought the Nier 1 remaster because Automata was great and I never played the original. The combat still isn't very great. Lots of enemies just stand around until you start whacking them. Everything else tho so far A+.

i bought Dinkum, which is basically Australian Animal Crossing with some Stardew Valley splashed in. one of the first things i saw while exploring the island was a dingo going for a swim in the sea only to be eaten by a shark, but another dingo went after the shark seeking revenge, and killed the shark. i got free meat. then later the old lady gave me googly eyes to wear.  game of the year

Blitzball is fun but it takes a bit of time investment to get there cause you need to get some decent players in and grind a bunch of levels to open up the game's mechanics, it's really rough to start with and I can totally get some people just being discouraged and not engaging with further

Quite looking forward to the sequel! An FF sequel is something that I have wondered about. My eventual 'playlist' might be all over the place 7r - 7 - VIII - IX - X - X2 - VI (If the pixel remasters are on console otherwise) XII - XV - XIII - XIII2 - XIII3 - XVI - XIV And 7r2 will be on release day!!!

I really want that FF3 pixel remaster that seems like it’s almost a remake of the Famicom version but tbh im pretty cool with just “acquiring” the other games’ ports since im not like ultra hype for the remixed OSTs and tbh the sprites being 1:1 with their original games make the early ones look kinda like Pokémon Green sprites imho.
