Disney must have just pushed out a bunch of trailers. Did not see this sequel coming, although I suppose I should have! https://youtu.be/dRuwjZJ-DQw

Doesn’t do anything for me. Sam Jackson looks like he’s sleeping through it and hates it. It doesn’t say or do much of anything.

I'm kind of catching up with MCU continuity, is it previously explained why he starts the trailer with the scars over his eye, but it's not milky and blind?

It is truly depressing how much talent the MCU has hoovered up. Imagining all those great actors doing interesting films for the last 15 years… ugh.

This doesn't look like the real Willow sequel, Shadow Moon. When does Willow become the floor?!

I was going to say Warwick Davis looks really good for his age, but I didn’t realize he was only 52.

Doesn't look much like Willow but looks like a better D&D adaptation than the D&D movie so I'm definitely going to watch it.

Yeah, he got scratched in the eye by an alien cat in the 90s, in Captain Marvel. I normally don’t really like movies about The Power Of Film but if there’s anyone that can actually make that work it’s Spielberg.

good lord, the actors are sleeping through it too, despite all of the buckets of money being thrown at them. i guess we're all doomed to perpetual marvel spinoffs, sequels, prequels, and remakes for eternity at this rate.

davidspackage posted:I'm kind of catching up with MCU continuity, is it previously explained why he starts the trailer with the scars over his eye, but it's not milky and blind? The vibe I'm getting is that no-eyepatch Fury is a Skrull decoy who's protecting the real Fury, Venom Snake style. The final line and shot of the trailer suggest that. And at 30 seconds when Fury first speaks there are a couple words that sound like someone else is speaking, either that's a hint or extremely bad ADR.
