Is that like some kind of giant woodlouse? I love woodlice, they are like tiny little cattle. Last summer, I found out that they really love to eat cherries. I'd put a half cherry down for them and they'd all gather around it in a perfect circle to have a gentle feast

The cutest lil and surprisingly big guys  Just remembered, on the walls of Dun Laoghaire harbour, there are some pretty enormous isopods - I think they are about an inch long. Anyway, back when we were all kids, I threw a very dead one into a cabin which contained my brother and his best friend, and they EXPLODED out like fecking rockets. They had been being assholes the whole day, about my arachnophobia so my dead isopod attack was entirely justified

There are lots of animal "selfie" videos but this is pretty cool because I don't think I've ever seen one before where an animal clearly actually understands the concept? Apparently horses are known to understand photographs and be able to recognize humans in them

Yeah horses are very social and will at least imitate their handlers. The horse may not understand it's having a photo taken but it will almost definitely recognize it's own face later on the phone or a printout.

Time for a cute dump! Big Dogs Edition. This is Stella. Pit mixed with possibly some American Bulldog. She's the most hilarious and emotional dog I've ever met, and a total sweetheart. She's training to be a therapy dog, so the costumes actually serve a purpose in this case - testing her tolerance and desensitizing her to everything. She puts up with it beautifully! She looks tragic in all of her pictures, though.         This is Meadow, a 4 month old Great Dane. Her mom now has 3 Danes, she literally had to buy a bigger car!    This guy is Murphy, a Pit/German Shepherd mix. He's a lot bigger now at around 8 months old at over 80 lbs. (he was 5 months in the pictures) but just as much of a goofball.      This handsome guy is Loki, a 6 month old Rottweiler. He is HUGE and still has a ton of growing to do, I've never seen a bigger Rott in my life. He is super sweet and highly intelligent and I would totally steal him if I could. I really love him.   This is his sire, Mick, (not the pup obvs) with Santa Claus.  Arnie, Great Dane/Lab mix. He's basically a Dane, you really only notice the Lab when you look at his head from certain angles. He acts just like a Dane, too. Another super sweet guy!    One might not think of Bassets as "big" dogs, but Watson here weighs over 70 lbs.! He may just be the cutest dog of all time, every time he sees you he rolls over on his back and asks for belly rubs. It's hard to get a good picture of him because he's constantly wiggling!     Sweet senior boy Sammo, proving you're never to old to get your degree!  A beautiful St. Bernard, I forgot his name, sadly!
