Chie Koishikawa & Sayaka VS Masa Takanashi & Sayuri
When “Too Much Energy” Chie Koishikawa isn't destroying property (while still being charismatic), she is showing off why she is considered the “Ace of the Fourth Generation”. With the Frantic Fencer’s increasing toolkit of counters, high flying strikes, that nasty Stretch Muffler, and even her new flash pin “Energy Hold”...these two have quite the amount of dangerous abilities at their disposal. That isn’t even taking into consideration her extreme speed and all the running! She'll be partnered with “Smiling Violence” Sayaka, a striking pair for the age. The Cosplay expert and cohort of Minoru Suzuki has already proven her worth since her return to Ichigaya. Her catchphrase, “I'm gonna kill you, Yay!” is quite popular! (No wonder she has such scary epithets) With her pin-point dropkicks, natural talent, ungodly striking power, and glowing personality, Sayaka is showing herself to be a real star in the making. Watch out for that yet to be named “Sayaka Lock” or her variants on pins! She has even started doing arm captured strikes...With a pure power and pure speed combination, Warm Greetings and Savage Beatings await their foes. They’ll need to polish up their teamwork in preparation for taking on Daisy Monkey at Phoenix Rises!
The Kunoichi (female ninja, basically) of the Fourth Generation paired with the Tag Team Veteran Drunken Monkey! Sayuri & Masa Takanashi might seem like a random team at first glance, but these two both excel at counter style fighting! What tricks will they utilize to help them bring down the Strikers? Sayuri is able to run across the wall, vanish before your very eyes, and invoke jutsu’s that might just turn the tide of battle! Her crucifix bombs and knee drops keep getting better. This Crimson Kunoichi possesses a lot of potential waiting to be unleashed! (Plus, that new gear is pretty sick.) Her partner, Masa, is a one of a kind performer. The tricky technician is incredibly hard to predict, even managing to find yet undone attacks using Ichigaya itself. (That is a feat, considering ChocoPro is up to over 250 episodes) He just flows so well from move to move...While he is definitely powerful and agile on his own, this tag specialist is known for being part of two of the biggest teams in ChocoPro history...Calamari Drunken Kings with Chrissy B, and Hyakuen Thunders with Emi Sakura! Expect Sayuri & Masa’s synergy to reignite quickly!
Celebration Trios
Toru Owashi, Mei Suruga, & Antonio Honda VS Minoru Fujita, Sayaka Obihiro, Yuna Mizumori
There are a few things you should know about Toru Owashi. He was trained by Ultimo Dragon. He enters to Darude – Sandstorm. He's really fun, has excellent comedic timing, and is really good at lucha things! (He also has shirts that have this unique “Where’s Waldo” appeal that can’t be put into words, go seek them out.) While he is now known for his DDT appearances (I wonder if he’ll bring his belts?), he occasionally appears on Dragon Gate, and continues his tradition of yearly Gatoh Move matches...though now in ChocoPro! ( Also, he is celebrating his 22nd Anniversary in Pro-Wrestling! ) Owashi has the pleasure (or horror) of teaming with “Apple Honey” in this Trios match. No one is ever prepared for the combination of Apple Girl Mei Suruga & Story Teller Antonio Honda! This rare pairing tends to bring out the worst in one another...Which is a feat, considering how incredibly devious both are to begin with. Mei Suruga is the High Speed Goblin, a genius of submissions, pins, and all manner of pain infliction. She gets away with all of this because she’s just too charismatic! Mei gets a break from being pummeled by Miya this evening, but she’s still got a dangerous foe ahead. The Big Apple Girl will be focused on her target: Yunamon. They’ll be battling in the main event of Phoenix Rises, after all! Antonio Honda meanwhile tends to pull off cruel pranks and utilizes makeshift props for both comedy and weaponry. This veteran of the scene is known for his silly antics and stories about foxes but he’s also quite solid in ring (or square). Honda channels wrestlers of the past (as well as those that simply retired) leading to a fun mix of nostalgia and crisp ability. Anton & Owashi pair up quite a bit in DDT, so adding Mei to the mix will probably result in a lot of fun for all involved. (especially the viewers!)
Minoru Fujita! Known for his accolades in singles, deathmatches, and especially tags (also his angelic singing voice), this time we’ll also be celebrating his birthday...and Obihiro’s! This bird loving former belt collector is still a terror with endless endurance...even if he looks a bit different now. His brawler style and high level of technicality make him a fierce (but also rotten) opponent. Fujita’s impact on the scene overall is unmistakable, but he tends to spend most of his time these days teaming up with DAMNATION TA in DDT! With that much talent and a willingness to bend the rules, the world opens up before the Vice Principle. When paired with the (occasionally villainous herself) blazing chef Sayaka Obihiro, even more possibilities appear! (These two also have some of the best laughs you'll ever hear) While the Blue Heart has almost reached her goal of wrestling 2022 without injury, it is important to remember just how hard she works. Between her chef duties and wrestling, Obi is always busy. Even if sometimes that business includes hijinks with the monster squad known as UMA. She’s not too busy to hand out some devastating chops and flash pins, though! Finally rounding out the team is the Tropical Fairy Monster known as Yunamon! Yuna Mizumori always steals the show with her wild antics and even wilder attire. The Pineapple Girl and Apple Goblin have been rivals for a long time...and this build to their eventual singles has proven just how much chemistry they have together. Yuna brings more than just science, though, with Stan Hansen style lariats, flying shoulder tackles, and supergirl pins like there’s no tomorrow! When you are able to match Mei Suruga in both charisma and ability, you’re in a good place, and Ichigaya is lucky to have Yuna. Expect this one to be a spicy affair, full of chaos, comedy, and rapid action!

Emi Sakura 🌸 & Miya Yotsuba 🍀 Vs Mei Suruga 🍎 & Sayaka Obihiro 💙
The Queen has returned...Emi Sakura is back in Ichigaya! Her Highness, Emi Sakura, is known for her insane depth of skills and unrivaled cruelty...and the time away from Ichigaya doesn’t ever seem to affect her at all! The Oni’s mastery of Tag Structure is a frequent delight at AEW (I wonder when Skye Blue will show up), but at ChocoPro she will be showing off why she is so respected...and feared! (She Will Chop You!) She’ll be pairing up with her opponent from Phoenix Rises, the brand new Miya Yotsuba! While Miya terrorized her trainers in her exhibition matches, the tall powerhouse now has the opportunity to win over the ChocoMints once again as an official wrestler. Having been named for the Four Leaf Clover, Miya has a vibrant set of blue-green gear and a unique entrance getup already. We’re definitely lucky to have her!
Mei Suruga & Sayaka Obihiro are one of the more rare (but powerful) combinations that ChocoPro can offer. These two alone produce a hefty amount of gifs! Though their styles might differ significantly, the technical skill of the two put together is pretty frightening. Maybe it is because they’re both monsters in different ways? The Apple Goblin recently appeared at TJPW & the Main Event of Phoenix Rises, so she’ll be hungry for more chances to show off her high speed pins & cruel submissions. Much like Emi, she’ll probably be gunning for her student in this match! Monster Enthusiast Obi on the other hand works well with anyone, and her chops and speed rival that of the Oni herself. There is a reason we call her the Soul of Gatoh Move! Miya’s first match in ChocoPro is going to be magical.
Kid Lykos
Kid Lykos 🐺 & Masa Takanashi 🍶Vs Baliyan Akki ♠️ & Chie Koishikawa 🏵️
Kid Lykos has made it to Ichigaya! While he has already appeared for DDT & Gatoh Move, the Wolf Masked Fighter now makes his debut at the Chocolate Square. Part of CCK along side Chrissy B and Schadenfreude with some of the wildest names in the industry (seriously go look it up), Lykos brings a feral intensity and technical crispness that make him an instant fan favorite. He’s also got an excellent mask! KL has been busy tearing up the UK scene with Progress & RevPro (among others). High flyers tend to get super creative in the new environment, and with the skill the Wolf brings to the table we’re gonna be in for a treat. Overcoming a two year retirement due to injuries and still providing some of the top work out there, Lykos should be one of the best guests (hopefully frequent some day!) that Ichigaya will ever host. Thanks for coming back, dude. He’ll be pairing up with the other-other half of Chris Brookes, Masa Takanashi! Masa is a counter-fighter with a knack for annoying his opponents. When he isn’t getting drunk at a post-show barbecue, he’s a major threat in the ring (or square). The Drunken Monkey's style is very technical and crisp, but he isn't afraid to work the nose! Don't be tricked by his aloof nature and swaying movements…Masa is one of the best in the promotion! How will this combination of Chrissy’s partners work out?
What a welcome back gift, Chie Koishikawa & Baliyan Akki are together again! This team has been called a few things in the distant past: A&C's Greetings, No-Name, A B Curry (probably a play on the delicious Shrimp Curry by Chie). These two are each part of great tag teams, and together they actually have a lot of synergy! Chie is the Frantic Fencer of ChocoPro. She's got way “Too Much Energy”, her own variant knuckle chops, and several high-octane twists on fundamental wrestling skills including a killer Stretch Muffler! Chie is an underrated tag specialist, being able to work well with anyone she is placed along side: providing agility, raw energy, and lots of moral support! She’s fresh off facing Daisy Monkey (Suzume & Arisu Endo) at Phoenix Rises! The Zephyr of Ichigaya, Baliyan Akki, has finally returned home! If you're unfamiliar, he is a technical wizard, showing a mastery of many different styles...you’ll understand quickly why he is the Ace of ChocoPro. His silky smooth combo strikes and overall wrestling prowess is both a blast from the past and a glimpse of the future of pro-wrestling. The Super Asia Champion has been busy making breezing through Indie shows across America, while getting to experience all the heights that excursions can bring. Welcome back, Ace!
