And hold Lamar Jackson to 3 in the quarter. Jets (lead by noted elite QB Flacco) only had to score 17 in the fourth, on the road and 14 in the final 90 seconds while keeping (checks notes) Jacoby Brisset from scoring. I'm kidding, though. There were two games to contend for come back games of the loving year, occurring in the same division, on the same weekend, at the same loving time almost. I'll still call the fins the better of the two, but can't argue with any jets fan too much.

I don’t really care whose comeback was better. Dolphins/Ravens was almost certainly a better overall game, I’m sure, but all that matters is Dolfans and Jets posters should all be elated. Great day for the AFCE thread! gently caress the Patriots, though.

I mean you could certainly make an argument that the Dolphins come back had a little bit to do with the Ravens easing up on the gas a little bit, but it really wasn't that much. The Ravens checked into garbage time defense for a little bit of the third quarter, but they basically checked out of it by the time that single drive got back into the red zone. If we're talking what-if's, a lot of the Dolphins early struggles were either weird misfires(blown coverage, dropped passes, Tua misfires) or a real host of bad ref calls that made the Ravens look like they were much better and the Dolphins much worse early on.

Offense was better, still made a bunch of errors that killed drives, but they were able to consistently move the ball, while the defense is good enough to beat a QB as bad as Mitch Trubisky.

Pittsburgh's offense struggled to do anything and had a couple of extremely costly errors. I mean, Trubisky is their starting quarterback for godsake.

It’ll get lost in the Wilson and Hall show but Max Mitchell held his own just fine against Jadeveon Clowney. Might actually have a long term RT developing. He let up the strip sack but was otherwise solid.

Rewatched this because poo poo, it was fun. The little spin move Tua does to avoid the rush before the Cracraft TD was beautiful. Tua was really in the zone today. Waddle had almost no YAC last year and this year I wouldnt be surprised if he was the league leader so far. Defense did absolutely nothing.
