I had recorded the Eagles game last night and just rewatched it. I am not an Eagles fan, I’m a Cowboys fan for almost a half-century now (have at me, you bastards!) But there is nothing I love more than a great NFL cornerback. It’s an incredibly difficult position to play and to see it done well is really pleasing to me. Cousins wasn’t on target with some of those throws but nonetheless Darius Slay put on a clinic out there last night. What a force he is.

I assume it's that way because once you go past 5 into wide 7 the gap space is meaningless and 7-11 are usually the receiving eligible options so it's easier to say you got 7 to the DE so he knows he's lining up near or over the TE.
