i had turkish coffee when visiting turkiye at age 13. it was...not good. went through a bit of a phase of trying to make it at home when we got back - imagine a 13 year old making turkish coffee, it went about that well.

gonna be spending a good chunk of my afternoon working from a coffee shop, so i switched on the coffee maker this morning configured for less coffee than i'd usually make. still ended up with more than intended. filled two mugs. enjoyed 'em back to back.

been (bean!) introduced to the coffee machines at new job. one is a keurig, the other "just makes brown water". the good news is the team is relocating and a better coffee machine will be available there.
