A former friend of mine sold his neighbor a fent overdose where the neighbor died and it made the news. Because it was the first big "drug dealing is murder" fentanyl case in the area, they made a huge show out of it. He ended up getting 7 years mostly based on the fact that the guy sent the neighbor "dude are you ok" texts after he saw emergency services outside. I think he got out after 5 years. His wife took his kid and left the state while he was in prison. Just sad poo poo all around. (He did not throw fent at the cops when they showed up although he did try and flee the state and was caught and extradited)
