For anyone else, as this thread clearly demonstrates, the term is unwieldy enough to require its own explanation, rendering it pointless. Before the modern internet, Harlequin novels had this figured out. The book jacket would communicate content through inference and euphemism so that anyone who cared knew what they were getting and anyone who didn't could remain blissfully ignorant. Nobody appears to have figured out an equivalent balance in the post-Tumblr and Twitter world.
