Been listening a lot to this one song Harley Has the Hiccups by The Thorazines, think it's pretty rad. Today is the 40th Annual Punk Pub Crawl here in Naarm/Melbourne, Australia. Got my camera bag prepped and my fave band atm via t-shirt repped: Blood Command. Mohawk is green and I've smoked a bit of that, too. Oi oi!

Nothing new, I think they've been up to the PNW maybe once? Anti-Flag was my version of "middle schooler won't stop talking about Linkin Park to an embarrassing extent" and they're playing here next weekend. A bunch of my coworkers are planning on going despite never listening to them/not being into punk at all, so I feel compelled to come along since the venue is more my scene than theirs and it's been literally 20 years since I've seen/listened to the band. Problem is, I'm not sure how to defend against the psychic damage of my preteen self's cringe taste in over-produced punk bands bearing it's full force on me. Should I attempt to dissociate to the point of achieving ego death before the show or is Anti-Flag not as awful as I expect they'd be these days? Also, how much old poo poo do they usually play? I haven't listened to anything post Mobilize.

I was watching an Anti Flag set I recorded back in 2005 or so and it’s so weird hearing all the anti-Bush stuff now in a post-Trump world. Not that that guy didn’t/doesn’t suck eternal rear end too, but man we didn’t know what was to come for sure.
