I'll probably be made to watch more by my friends but we did watch the first ep of andor, right off the back of being bored senseless by rings of power and looking for something to bring us back to life It still mostly bored us and we didn't watch another. I guess the thing is a lot of people really love Rogue One cause it was a self consciously po-faced mature star wars grown men don't have to feel embarassed by, but personally I thought its the most boring one cause of that and andor is the series version of rogue one. Like I say tho we only watched the first ep and barely anything happens, maybe it gets amazing from there

The only reason I have ever heard of Bros is that there was marketing for it in Provincetown when I went there for an overnight a couple months ago. Never saw an ad or heard someone talking about it in any other context. If straight people didn't show up for it maybe it's because they had no idea it existed. That said though yeah romantic comedies are pretty much just a Hallmark channel thing now, they are still around but don't go to theaters. Maybe they should have positive sex scenes, that might help them

My GF and her friends went to see it this weekend, they said they loved it. It seemed funny enough in the trailers but I don't care for romcoms. It's probably a damned if you do, if you don't kind of thing, but the ads I saw in theaters came off a bit aggressive with the "NOT for straights" jokes. My Succ Dem relatives said that turned them off, but I wouldn't be surprised if thats a convenient excuse.
