We need to hit rock bottom first. quote:Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. quote:It’s about time for Filipino only think about themselves, that’s how people in progressive country think’s, it’s the only way to push the government to help the poor and don’t rely on private donations. quote:It may sound ridiculous for most but I think Philippines will be better under United States just like Puerto Rico , that’s the only way Filipino will have a better government, I don’t really believe in Philippines political system, it’s very obvious these politicians only care about their longevity in positions. quote:These people don't care about good governance. We tried to save them by helping them. But they denied it and spat in our faces, so leave them be.

what a loving nightmare world we live in. there was a nature documentary a while back where these baby turtles hatch on the beach and have to crawl to the ocean, and most of them don't make it in even the best of circumstances. there's all these predators just waiting to snatch them up. but the problem's gotten worst in modern times. the baby turtles mistake the lights of the city for the moon and crawl the wrong way, away from the ocean where they're meant to be. they crawl by the hundreds into the street where they're ran over. a bunch of crunched shells on the asphalt. or if they're particularly unlucky, they fall into the gutter, down into the sewer where they suffer in the poo poo and waste until they die. that's their whole life, no joy or turtle pleasures just a short life of pain, bewilderment and death. that poo poo has stuck with me for years, just the arbitrary cruelty of the world we live in and all the poor babies out there who deserve better. i guess you get older and you build calluses on your soul to help you not think about it too much, you can't feel empathy over every tragedy out there, but sometimes things slip through and it's overwhelming.

Sucks poo poo that only lasted for like 2 months

Well I figure the continual depopulation of the US and other countries by Covid and the complete breakdown of industry due to a lack of ability to think past next quarter will eventually bring that back. Kinda like how the radiation in the Chernobyl exclusion zone probably wasn't/isn't good for the animals but the fact no humans live there anymore than made up for it. If capital can't get it's rear end back in gear it won't have the ability/reason to cut down more forests because it'll have no workers or machines, and will be too distracted by the fake numbers it's made up to care that it doesn't. Some factories will always pollute but without necessary parts it's more just a matter of rainwater leaking into the building and absorbing some lead from the product. thechosenone has issued a correction as of 14:05 on Oct 6, 2022 |

i tend to be grillmaster at my friend's pool parties and can get through 5lbs of chuck pretty fast now but having a thick layer of fat on your palms is never fun french fries, though, gently caress that. either a frozen bag of 'em in an oven or i just don't make them

also five guys remains the worst fast food place because if i get a regular burger it comes with canned mushrooms standard which is horrifying. i'll never get over that because my normal fast food order is a #1 with everything no matter where i go

I make french fries once a month in apt. I don't see how difficult it is? Par boil em the night before and use some for other dishes while your at it. Use a wok with oil and then reuse the oil once it's done and wipe down surfaces. Portion of the parboiled potatoes goes for parathas, pakodas and curry. Portion of of it goes for French fries. ughhhh has issued a correction as of 19:58 on Oct 6, 2022 |
