i dont think piracy was really as big as it's made out to be in terms of Why the Dreamcast Failed like how many people had CD burners in 2001 more likely some people bought bootlegs, and the dreamcast really failed because the saturn failed

I am a grumpy old rear end in a top hat and that trailer was everything I was hoping for. Very happy and excited for the Mario movie. But I can also understand why I am seeing people not happy with it too. I wouldnt go out of my way to tell them they are wrong.

I was somewhat disappointed that the trailer wasn't particularly stupid except in the dumb way that all trailers are. Does any movie trailer for a lighthearted movie not contain a "sinister music and intense situation, music drops out to reveal that the situation is actually comical" moment?

I like that they have Koji Kondo and are using music cues from the games. That's one of the biggest issues with the Sonic movies.

Eh, it's probably fine for kids and it certainly looks less annoying than most cgi movies, so that's good for people taking their kids to see it i guess. Attaching celebrities to animated seems like a huge waste of money to me , but I guess it's a marketing thing
