Elephants may come back for revenge. They also have cross country GPS.

Also here is an illustration of an elephant in case you, dear viewer, do not know what an elephant looks like.

I appreciate that Mark, who was sitting in a private trailer with a laptop talking to Diana, blew her off to walk and talk on his phone so he could teleport back to Rex and Tess, who've been hitting on each other for hours straight and I guess it was night but now it's day again and-yeah gently caress it just more Trail Teleportation.

You know what while I'm here yeah I see that panel 1 wrist snap, the panel 1 to 2 neck ballooning on Bill, Mark's neck gradually increasing to 1.5 length by panel 4, etc... ah, what a Trail to end the week on!

Yes, please don't interpret the thread dog-piling one weird Out Our Way as us wanting it to stop. I love it, and most all of the old one-panels.

I really hope nobody took my comment as me saying I wanted it to stop being posted. I will never ask for any comic to stop being posted (unless it's Dilbert or 9CL). My post was mostly tongue in cheek even if I do skip over reading OOW 99% of the time. I also skip over Our Boarding House a lot too and I actually really like that one. But I couldn't stand it during the entire month where the last line in every single one was "That's out!"

The more comics posted, the better I say, even if they're comics that I don't personally like. Because I know that I have some comics I enjoy that other people don't like (Arnold is probably the biggest one).

I am incredibly invested in this storyline, this is fantastic stuff.

I often skip Our Boarding House too because the dialogue is so dense but I actually miss the "That's out!" stuff haha.

I also usually skip OOW when it's the guys in the machine shop.

Those are the ones I most stick around for. It's the peanut gallery spending half the panel explaining the joke in the other half, but it's good relatable jokes.

When I want to relax, I read an essay by Engels. When I want something more serious, I read Corto Maltese.
And today we conclude our current Blueberry adventure:

And boy oh BOY do I have feelings about this ending. This is the other section I was talking about that takes me out of the story, 'cause it's an astoundingly stupid thing for Grant to do. And I mean monumentally stupid. It's so bad, it makes me want to propose an alternative - for example, Grant could have been told that Alistair would have to be put on trial, and that it would be a long, drawn-out affair, since he comes from a moneyed background - that evidence of such a massive conspiracy within the army coming out into the open would lower the U.S. standing in the world, etc. He could THEN hand the gun to Alistair, Alistair attempts to shoot Grant, and Bluberry intervenes as it happens here, only it was revealed that Grant handed Alistair an empty gun, i.e. he was counting on Blueberry to extrajudicially kill the man instead of going through the courts - and that could have disgusted Blueberry enough to want to resign his army commission ('cause he doesn't go back to the military after this...). As it stands, Grant now does the stupidest thing in the entire series that isn't directly linked to racial bigotry, except...

Coming in, under the wire, we have a NEW contender for that title in the shape of Michael Steven Blueberry

And... well, I hope you all liked McClure and Wooley. 'Cause this is the last we'll ever see of them, too.

So. I hope you'll join me next time with Blueberry at his most problematic when he meets up with his fellow Georgian in New Mexico, and make their way to California in the logically named adventure: Arizona Love

Which is apparently a Harlequin romance novel? Oh boy.
