If you're going to serve me something in a cone, I had better be able to eat it on the cone.

I never understood these. A few kids had these regularly in like grades 1-3 but we didn’t have a microwave available for students so they’d just eat those cold dough rounds with cold tomato sauce and cold cheese :barf: It was like the cartesian intersection of rich kid and poor kid

it had a desert in it by default and many parents who would not go out of their way to buy a desert to include in their kids lunch separately would still be totally fine with a lunchable if that's what their kid was asking for

also just the mere IDEA of pizza is it's own allure

That's how they're intended to be eaten

You microwave the Kid Cuisine; you eat the Lunchables as is. Didn't childhood neglect teach you anything?

I never had either of these! That's why I don't understand! :(

Cold pizza is good (better closer to room temperature than fridge temperature depending on the type), but a combination of stacked ingredients that has never actually been heated or cooked- does that even really qualify as pizza? Perhaps that's more of a philosophical question along the lines of "is a hot dog a sandwich" etc.

No, it's not real pizza. I don't think anyone over the age of 7 considers it to be.

The lunchables deep dish came out when I was a kid and I definitely ate more of those than a doctor would recommend*

I think peak lunchables was in the 90s so most of the kids would have been able to use their shoe compartments.

It’s true, I’ve seen it happen. Never had one myself mind you, that seems like a tier of neglect that needs to be unlocked.
