Are the gays even still a source of outrage and controversy? Like, I know what happened with Mass Effect 1 and FOX News but that was a long, long time ago now. Subsequent BW games, especially in Dragon Age or ME3 and Andromeda, went pretty hard on gay romances compared to ME1. That battle is long lost. As for Satanism, didn't Lucifer have a TV show? If that kinda poo poo is happening, a sort of third tier (in terms of sales and stuff) Japanese RPG probably won't ruffle any feathers.

My local church (who is proLGBT) had a bunch of people protesting it yesterday because they didn't want the pedophile gay and transes near their kids for the pumpkin patch. Mainstream conservative thought has gone fully back on gays needing their rights stripped as much as trans people the past like 4 years.
