City bus chopped cleanly in half by a train.
No passengers were in the bus.

A driver was taken to hospital, can't tell yet if they mean the train driver or the bus driver. But apparently the bus driver already got out of the bus when the train hit

Angle 1 (really weird, video taken from another person's phone screen) https://vxtwitter.com/AtheistKlimaat/status/1581934040898473984

Angle 2 https://www.dumpert.nl/item/100043769_e0d51c74

It is not yet known why the bus didn't move away. It is not a bus from a company that runs the concessions in that area - it might be that the fairly long triple axle style got caught on the hump of the railroad crossing, which might normally be served by dual axle, shorter buses.
However, it's highly unusual that such a hump is high enough to high centre a bus. Like... There are 1800 level crossings and 6500 buses in the Netherlands, a country about the size of New York City and the surrounding suburbs. Never before (in my knowledge) has a bus ever been high centered on a level crossing.

We do have warning signs against diepladers/lowboy trailers being unable to cross the crossing:

There may be a slight warehouse fire in town. Embers flying everywhere, building is gone, gas pipe is still feeding it, the highway that direction is shut down. Fire department is calling in people from nearby towns and is almost out of water.

Oh also there might have been asbestos in there.

Given the likely circumstances of the statue's removal, decapitating the statue on the way off the plinth is probably saving someone a bunch of trouble of further defacing it later.

How the hell are the goals too tall in what I'm pretty sure is a Premier League stadium? If it was the after work league in a tiny village somewhere that would make more sense, but that seems professional. :psyduck:

"Home field advantage"

Being professionals, it was unlikely to be a mistake. Professional athletics has the money to cheat in ways that after work leagues can only dream of.

Somehow, in the world of professional football, cheating slipped my mind as the cause.

How do they decide who plays on each side? If it's a cointoss then it would be hard to cheat that way

There is already a meta game where the pitch length and width are variable within a league. It's kind of like a baseball game home field advantage where you select and train a team for the variable you can control 50% of the time. Cheating in this case because you are choosing extra variables that are meant to be static instead.

E. I should clarify home field advantage is probably made up and there's more important things to worry about between stadiums for an average sports watcher like how burnt the hot dogs are

Get those feeds and speeds dialed in for some good sized kebab swarf. Can't be too short, or be a giant bird's nest.

On the other hand, imagine like a giant kebab strip. I'm hungry.

Seems like a great way to get fired for conduct unbecoming or some poo poo if he's actually a cop and not just cosplaying.

There's a reason "glock leg" is a term. You should never unholster your gun with your finger on the trigger. Or idk, twirl it like you're Revolver Ocelot.

Cops don't get fired for anything except snitching on other cops.

That's if they don't "die in a training accident" sooner.

I'm guessing that the whole notion of gun spinning originated with single action revolvers, this is why you don't see them in movies that aren't westerns.
