I was watching Strouds stream a few years back and he was talking about tax write offs and how he can write off anything that is in the background of his camera because it's part of the "set cost" of his business. He started having $3k Herman Miller chairs, super expensive rugs, then he frames a table with a collection of expensive nerd poo poo like some large Infinity Gauntlet and a bunch of figures and poo poo. I guess this is legit in California.
