Good lord, the only way it could be more Ace Attorney-y is if it were in 7/4 time. Looks like this is gonna be an automatic soundtrack buy even if the game is garbage, and somehow, against all odds, there's a very real chance it might not be.

I 'unno, I think part of that Post-Generation's stretch has had some music issues. Like, Forces has some bangers but as a whole the OST is very unfocused, the classic tracks are a bizarre genesis-soundalike composition, modern has a lot of cool tracks in line with boost era tracks but the instrumentation makes a lot sound samey after they hit like the thirty second mark, and then avatar tracks have a more concrete melodic punk thing going on that specially stands out with the lyrics. Lost World just has a rather mid soundtrack outside of the Desert Ruins getting a version of the Addams Family theme. Frontiers has a far more concise and rad soundtrack. It feels like it's all set around those avatar stages tracks, but going harder since it's most of the OST instead of a third.

Lost World’s music owns Forces is a bit mixed. The avatar stages have great music. The classic stage music is kinda bad. The modern music varies A lot of the music in Forbes also gets cut off before it can really get going because of how short the stages are. Freedom Planet 2 has a couple levels clearly inspired by the two worst zones in sonic 3. It’s pretty blatant. The level design overall in FP2 is kind of too loose? Like I’m having trouble figuring out where to go sometimes, the levels are so wide open. It’s close enough to a sonic game to post in here.

Remember during the pokecapn Sonic 06 LP, where they noticed one of the music tracks sounded suspiciously similar to Flash Man's theme? I think I just found another instance of a Sonic track ripping something off? So I was sitting around listening to a playlist of stock music (Like one does) and I noticed one of the hooks sounded weirdly familiar... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jrLwyc5ibkg And then I realized where I'd heard it before... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpRb42EM_T0 The songs aren't wholly the same, but the Sweet Mountain track definitely took its hook from a piece of British stock music from the 80s.

Forces is the one where Eggman breaks all their frontiers and they have to reclaim their frontiers, while Frontiers is the one where some sorta cyberdemon forces Sonic into a cyberdimension where he gathers new forces.
