As it should be. The Obari short was only improved by having them as VAs. Hiyama going full Hiyama was perfect for it. God, why do I bother watching anything else, this show is just every genre.

The sketch I remember the most clearly is the "Marilyn Monroe / Maybe you can put the executive producer on that space" one, where both sides obviously weren't given any actual dialogue for the stretchy part.

I haven't watched the English dub but from what I hear, at least for season 1, apparently they decided to just... directly translate the adlibbing that the Japanese VAs did, which really feels like a wasted opportunity.

That does sound unfortunate. I'd imagine there's some segments where they can't stray THAT far (ie, the mentioned Oh Yeah segment with the Producer credit onscreen), but it's a show where ad-libbing sounds like a must. Gonna blame the stupid nature of simuldubs for that.
