It should be trivial to find examples of WWE and WCW stars doing commercials for lovely local businesses. There are tons of them out there. I recall Jesse Ventura doing an ad for a mom and pop liquor store somewhere in Minnesota and Dusty Rhodes doing a commercial for some local used car dealer somewhere
