I'm not a heavy smoker so I've stuck to just using THC vape cartridges as they're quick and seem to last forever. Usually I go with the Sovrin brand because it's easily available and seems like a decent quality product.

I don't see people here talk much about these type of cartridges, usually it's either the dried plant or vaporizers.

So every time I get a sore throat or chest I get paranoid that I'm smoking something wrong. I'm just wondering if anyone here knows if there are known issues with these concentrated oils.

Also look into doing and passing microbial/contaminant testing, my understanding is that that's one of the gigantic hidden costs

I'm not sure about that particular brand, but I like having a few vape cartridges around. Sometimes they're made from bud that's not so great. Sometimes they're awesome! You can usually tell by comparing the price and clarity. You can also just ask, the budtender should be able to roughly describe the process behind the stuff they're selling. Unless you're buying them at a gas station, you don't have to worry about the same adulterants you did a few years ago.

I got quite wrecked last night, and found myself ordering a Sneaky Pete Sidearm at 3am. It's a Biao clone, and after seeing a couple of videos of its use I knew I had to get one. It's going to be my new outdoor piece, and I have a perfect sized padded camera lens case for it,

There's a lot of other hidden things as well. Unless the license is in a valuable state that has limited licenses and your goal is to purchased in 18 months (at a time when pot stocks are down so hard that capital is a pain in the rear end right now), do not start a plant-touching cannabis company until SAFE banking exists

1. As a W2 employee, your banking is fine. If you are an owner, your bank could drop you. If you own a home or want to purchase, the income you get from being an owner of a cannabis company does not count. Due to federal illegality, most mortgage types that have to do with Fannie / Freddie Mae will not work with you. As a W2 employee, it's legal but some banks or mortgage brokers don't want to deal with the hassle.

2. If you come from a functioning business with a normal tech stack, good luck! Cannabis tech is about 20-30 years behind everything else.

3. In most states there is MASSIVE price compression happening. A lot of new production facilities came online in states over the last couple of months, and there is a glut of biomass at the moment. A small-scale craft grow is doable, but still risky.

4. 2K is the business license. Do you have the cash for a full grow build? They're pricy as gently caress. Do you also have the cash to float between the time of getting the license, getting your grow inspected and approved, getting plants down, and then the time it takes to get plant ready for sale? Can you afford your first couple of batches to potentially come out as absolute poo poo and continue to do phenotype hunting?

5. Do you have retail connections that'll help you sell?

There's a LOT that goes into a cannabis business. It's hard to raise money, has major tax structure implications, and can have a real effect on your personal life.

they’re all local. You can’t ship cannabis products across state lines.

There are some brands (I.e Select for Curaleaf and Rhythm for GTI/Rise) that are on sale in multiple states, but they’re all made in their respective states, so who knows if they’re the same in two different states.

Thank you for the input. This would be non-US so some of these items don't apply. The new medical law where I live is a federal law. Banking here is a huge pain in the rear end (I spent three hours at a bank yesterday lmao) but there shouldn't be any legal issues with banking. I do have cash for a small grow build. I also have another company that's not in the weed business so I wouldn't be living needing to live off of it. The answer to number five is a big fat no for right now. I'd basically want to be growing for my own use, but then selling the excess if I can do so legally and profitably.

Thanks for the recommends, will have to keep and eye out for some of these. Sovrin brand seems ok, but once they get down to the last 25% or so starts clogging to poo poo.

It's seriously not a gimmick device, at all. It's very well built, looks beautiful, and... yeah, it lets you hit three carts (or 1, 2 or 3 of the included concentrate dishes!) which is mega nice for people like me who make good decisions

e. Also, while you are giving Hamilton money, buy a Daypipe (if combusting makes you feel good). Holy poo poo it's incredible, and I already bought one as a gift which is still being raved about lol

Yeah, absolutely. There won't be any cannabis specialist lawyers I don't think, at least not for a while. The law was passed in March and the regulations were signed three weeks ago, but they don't go into effect until they're published in the official "stuff is law now" newspaper. So nobody knows what the final regulations say yet, besides like, the president. But I know several business lawyers I trust so I will absolutely talk to all of them if I go for it. Thank you!

I skipped out on weed for two days and I'm not sure why really. I had one brownie at 10:30 last night when it was clear I was not going to fall asleep. I was loving out by 11:30.

I vape to get myself to sleep every night except Friday and Saturday so as to give myself a break and help reduce tolerance buildup.

I use weed for my Tourettes, I'm genuinely unsure the mechanism for how it works

It could be as simple as just letting me get good quality sleep, it could be stopping generalised anxiety it could be something more direct and targeted towards the unknown mechanism of Tourette's in general

Point being , if it's working , and you can hand on heart say it's not negatively impacting you significantly then , well , go wild

I vape/edible a threshold dose pretty much every evening

Still combusting in my dynavap most of the time. Haven't mastered the one hit extraction yet so I tend to heat up past the click, count to 3, then hit , let cool til it clicks and go again.

Using a triple torch but one of the jets is funky so it's mostly a double torch.

Not a Dickman, just a shape
The single hit extraction is tricky to do stock verging on impossible, I can't recommend the FMJ enough for this

The thing to make it click for me was the rough temperature approximatation by way of where the flame is directed on the cap. Closer to the tip is lower temps , near the pen lid thing is temps that verge on combustion

Anywhere from 2 to 4 with an FMJ for me, just depends on how tightly I pack the bowl

As someone who fully recognizes that I use weed to treat GAD, can I offer a yes, but? I know that American healthcare is a hellscape, and American mental healthcare even more so, but if you actually need weed to fall asleep then it's no longer recreational and you should probably talk to someone about it at least once. Self-medication is still self-medication, after all.

Most therapists are totally cool with weed use (and a growing number of doctors as well), and if nothing else they can help you figure out if it's just part of your nightly ritual or if it's covering for anxiety (or just like, flaring overnight TMJ).

I had a procedure done last month that needed anesthesia. I heard weed can mess with that, so I told the nurse and docs ahead of time that I took a break but it's still in my system. I told them I've been smoking rec weed, and one of the nurses said it was cool, at least I wasn't "running a risk with street weed."

My last guy was selling better medical bud than I could get legit. How does the urban legend about tainted weed still persist in this day and age when dispensaries are everywhere?

I was nervous to tell my therapist about how much weed was helping me straighten my head out, but he was quite receptive. As with most things, he wasn't encouraging or dismissive, really just listened to what I had to say - and he was happy that I found something that was helping me so much.

Weed sleep is great except when I wake up sober and a little hungover in the middle of the night because, I guess, the weed was the only reason I was asleep.
