so apparently, the amazon black friday sale is going to be just the most insane, stuff-of-legends poo poo imaginable for MTG products, like the crimson vow/midnight hunt fire sale level stuff or crazier. I'm real curious, that's for sure. wouldn't mind picking up collector boxes at 70 bucks or whatever they were going for during the recent lightning deals.

Rules probably aren't out for this yet, but nevertheless: if you cast something for it's prototype cost, does the prototype cost become the card's casting cost? E.G., does Phrexian Fleshgorger become black if cast as a prototype, or does it stay colorless? Does it become MV3, or does it stay at 7? My reading is "stays seven and colorless," but am unsure.

Ah, so it's like a reverse kicker where you can pay less to cast the spell, but the regular cost gives you the stronger effect. It's pretty neat.
