Marina has potential but it seems like she really struggles to coordinate her movements with other people. Kinda makes sense for an actual shoot fighter to have problems with that considering the vast majority of her experience with this poo poo comes from opponents attempting to stop her from doing moves on them rather than cooperating

Shoot fighters spend a ton more time training than in actual fights. There is a lot of cooperation in martial arts and MMA training, especially when trying out new techniques.

Unfortunately abadon as an attractive woman would have a lot more success if her gimmick didn't involve making herself extremely unattractive. Bray Wyatt wouldn't get over trying to be a von Erich and Kerry would have gone down like a fart in an elevator if he tried the boogeyman gimmick.

I think a possible problem Abadon faces is that as a nonverbal singles character it's sometimes tough for them to build a story. It's notable to me that my favourite Abadon moment is when they teamed with Ryo Mizunami as they had someone to properly play off. Thinking about that, I'm wondering if you could have them team with Max The Impaler as a kind of "non binary horror monsters" team. This is partly because I want to see people react to Max like Pom Harajuku did.

I'm pretty sure I saw them put on a decent dark match with Emi once too. There was that cute photoshoot storyline with Britt getting zombified after the last Halloween match with Abadon too. I also think it's cool that every time I see Abadon they're getting better and also in better shape, and from what I've heard have Danhausen & MJF levels of dedication to being in character when in makeup.

What swerves are they even referring to? The only ones I can think of recently are Garcia siding with the JAS where he could have gone either way and it would have worked, and MJF and the Firm which again can work both ways since he's both claiming to want to do things properly and is also literally calling himself the Devil and using the "the biggest trick the Devil ever pulled" quote. It's not like they're doing things to deliberately trick the fans.

I don't think this person actually pays attention to the shows, and when they do they start with the perspective of "Everyone in this company is awful and stupid and everything they do is bad." so when things happen that have been built up to for months, to him they're 'out of nowhere'.
