You can see people modelswap existing animations into something like Wagner's model and it's not offensively broken. No reason to hold any hopes though, he will probably just be like Al Haitham with minor size and texture tweaks to fake size.

padijun posted:You guys know all the bodies are the same in order to make climbing look uniform right Eh, since that's already hosed up by the different heights and models used in game getting caught on different geometry, having different run speeds, and reacting to water depth differently I think the folks who want more bodytypes isn't gonna stretch the game too far. Plus a lot of the early characters used many more recycled attack animations and later characters were more apt to use new animations, so I'm sure a few characters getting tweaked movements wouldn't break the bank or code either.

i wasn't around for it but apparently the game also used to support 120 FPS and then just... stopped? baffling decisions all around i'd also kill for an actual FOV slider instead of the stupid useless zoom options but to my knowledge that one never existed in the first place
