I haven't seen a lot of talk about him, KAT Gobert and DLo are taking up all the posting and article space he's making the 3rd year progression we hoped he would. he wants to guard the team's best offensive player and while the whole defensive scheme is a trainwreck but it's not because of him. he's stepped up his non-scoring effort in rebounds and assists. one of the Wolves best lineups this season is him playing with the reserves and just running a spacing attack that lets him initiate at the point and then either drive to the rim if they don't double him or kick it to someone if he does. he's not ever gonna be like a permanent point player but he can run it really, really well for stretches. also, he put on a bunch of muscle in the offseason and he's been way better about getting to the rim, particularly when there's contact. it's all small sample size stuff right now but it's there in the stats a little and he definitely passes the eye test. it's easy to forget that the starting five last year were (in order of size) KAT, Jarred Vanderbilt, Ant, PatBev, DLo and this year it is Gobert, KAT, Jaden McDaniels, Ant, and DLo. Kat is making the transition off the rim protector 5, where he wasn't ever really suited, Jaden McDaniels is making a good 3rd year leap while transitioning from a big to a wing, and Ant is normally being tasked with guarding much smaller and quicker players, since McDaniels is more of a natural stretch 4 (or a Great Value KD if you're being SUPER generous). Basically everyone but DLo is guarding positions they aren't used to guarding. but folks also forget that the Wolves started last year 4-9 before figuring poo poo out and going on a goddamn tear. there's problems right now, but it's mostly because KAT is playing a new position and so is Jaden McDaniels (remember they could have given him up in the Gobert trade and kept 2 draft picks, but they felt he was worth it. And they were right to keep him, he's easily worth whoever they would have gotten with those picks (hot take possibly there). Ant is as good as advertised but dude is also like ... 21 years old, and just turned 21 back in August. barring injury, he's gonna be a top 10 player in the league when he's in his prime. he's got all the tools, the right attitude, and loving wants that level of play.

The Wolves have a pretty strong LGBTQ fanbase and he did some damage to his image with that, which I think he recognizes. Hopefully he can keep doing the work and come out the other side with the community's support restored.

When in reality they're a regular person who just makes a lot of money now. This happens in rap all the time. Like people were shocked that Boosie was saying some wack things.
