This woman is frankly progressive compared to how self destructive and racist a lot of US business owners I had to work with were. Similarly, the person responsible for nearly 50 million dollars in ad spends at a major business was into mixing painkillers and high end wine then approving plans they would later scream at you over once their dissociative episode ended.

Honestly that sounds like a perfect use-case for Mastodon. You've got a special interest group that's looking for an open bulletin board, a dedicated Mastodon instance - with the possibility of linking up with different-industry-Mastodons - is tailor-made for this.

Anyway I passed and like 6 months later that million dollar emoji was a pack in bonus to my standard plan for no extra cost.

I think Elon will hold onto twitter for an entire year to not seem like a failure and then announce that he has "fixed" the platform and sell it for nothing. he'll claim he did it for humanity so money was never the point. My guess would be 1st November 2023.
