Doesn't seem particularly silly to believe that a god consists of different aspects. Religions are weird.

you need something to do with your time so you have to invent ways in which your specific wording and conception of the made up thing is different and distinct from that of your posting enemies, basically teenage fandom arguments except nearly two thousand years old. the early church is just full of people writing extremely long winded explanations about why everyone else is a loving moron because they don't sign up to my specific idea about how god works and all of you are loving heretics for it. there is a good wiki article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_heresies_in_the_Catholic_Church if you think they all sound like basically the same thing, you're not alone. a fun thing to do is just remember a couple of them and accuse people of doing them at random.

This one rules. Just perfect framing. Did that town just eliminate their animal control unit and spend that money on cops? Seems like a lot of pigs to send at a single hog.

I read something a long time ago that said that the trinity was a result of one of the apostles to integrate or convert Hindus after traveling to India because the core tenet is that vishnu, Shiva and brahma are all aspects of single force. But I don't know enough about either religion to be sure and can't remember who the author was.
