I've been watching a lot of Frasier recently and it got me thinking. People like to say "you couldn't make this TV show/movie nowadays" about a lot of stuff, but you really couldn't make Frasier today. Marty was an ex-cop with 30 years on the force - the modern day equivalent would be a QAnon psycho who is convinced that his radio host psychologist son is a member of the liberal media pedophile elite. and there's absolutely no way he'd agree to live in an apartment in the city lol
