I like most absinthes I've had. I like the ritual of ice water a sugar cube. Baijiu is OK. Its bad like touching a cactus needle with the tip of your finger is bad, pain but you also want to try it again. Asia makes some incredible whiskies and recently I've been going back to boring old Suntory... it just tastes too good. I want Omar Honey wiskey from Taiwan. I’ve lived in St. Louis for like fifteen years and I’ve never even seen a brain sandwich on a menu, I feel cheated. TBQH the culinary fare here varies between like aggressively chain-style dining in west county, and original and fun delicious stuff inside the city. I live in a neighborhood full of great casual joints full of delicious food. but if you go to The Loop and Blueberry Hill they have all that weird awful poo poo probably, and yeah every pizza place basically does provel and it’s really great when you don’t want to poo poo for a week. Also when I was a drunk, everywhere I went served pork steak, and I don’t think I’ve even seen anyone eat one for ten years, so I don’t know what happened. ran out of pig cows I guess. toasted ravioli is the tits though

It's still popular in St. Louis because it's a Rust Belt city full of old people. Most people in St. Louis under age 50 aren't eating this stuff unless they're hanging out with Grandpa. Exceptions are toasted ravioli and concretes (DQ Blizzard, to foreigners). I think the brain sandwiches went away with Mad Cow Disease.
