Trump has zero reason to come back to Twitter. His platform might actually survive Twitter now, something that was literally considered a punchline a few weeks ago before Elon took over. He’s already said on several occasions he wouldn’t be back and even he knows coming back would make him, and his platform, look weak. Especially if it’s by the grace of Elon frigging musk. Only way to get him back would involve begging so he’d be the big Alpha tough guy for his base.

What's funny is that if Elon had just brought back Trump's account day one and claimed freeze peach, Trump probably would taken the bait and started posting even though that site is dying. Having Trump on there probably could have stopped the bleeding because it'll retain his cult following on the site, as well as journalists wanting to keep up to date on the latest dumb thing he said. Not to mention all the people who are addicted to raging at him and making snarky comments in his replies. Having Trump on the site would upgrade the situation from a dumpster fire to a grease fire, which is not much better but at least it lasts longer. Instead Elon had to leave it up to democracy and we all know how much Trump hates that poo poo, so he fumbled the ball.
