I like that making food for your neighbors is ableist because they might have allergies or texture issues and not be able to eat it, but also toning down the spice for strangers if you don't know how much they can tolerate is racist or something. They couldn't even stick to one narrative about food sensitivity because they also couldn't resist virtue signaling about how much spice they can eat

it's nothing to do with politics at all, they were picking on another target and she said something along the lines of "hey that's not cool why are you picking on that person" and it all escalated from that. I remember several occasions where they instantly turned on their own longtime friends because of something like this, if they're the enemy then it's total war, forever, everything is justified.
