That ult already sounds miserable to play against. Putting down an AoE that persists as long as players are within it is one thing, but having an AoE aura that persists is like MMO raid boss game poo poo where you learn an encounter then reposition the boss in a scripted manner, not first person shooter poo poo. Sometimes I wonder if anyone on the dev team has even played other shooters before

I know that it doesn't matter and there's like half a dozen active villains playable but isn't ramattra like the head of a guerilla/terrorist movement that's currently active and fighting Overwatch? I know I know, we already have an assassin and a crime lord that are doing the same thing, but still.

Been on a competitive run lately, 11-1 in the last 12 with the sole loss being a classic case of game doesn't start well, DPS vents at the tank, tank decides to sit in a corner until disconnecting. Felt very good until I poked around my match history and apparently in competitive this season, with that winning run of games, I still have ten more losses than wins at gold 2. Whoops

It interrupts anything considered a channeled effect but not things considered transformations. This was one of the buffs roadhog got in OW2, his ult was changed from the former to the latter

I once got really annoyed at a feeding winston who was spammimg the i need healing button when i was on ana and i flamed him in match chat and he added me and i accepted it expecting to cop it and i was revved up to give him a spray and he said 'sorry for spamming i need healing. For some stupid reason i bound it to melee when i was drunk' and now we play together regularly

Had a great QP game yesterday where our soldier was a piece of poo poo, our other DPS was super friendly to make up for it, our Mercy was a new player who barely knew what the heal beam did, and the opposing Ana was fun. The whole game had a really casual air about it that I've not seen since TF2.

If someone flat-out goes "I am new" in QP it's time to chill, muck about, and all take the piss out of the tank who has become furious and gone "I CAN'T CARRY 1 VS 6". Nice maths, mate. Still not as much ribbing as the guy who was so cross he mis-typed "diff" as "figg" got though
