it's any part of your body that can legally play the ball, so the hand does nothing but the shoulder, rear end, calf, foot, head, etc., are all counted for offside purposes. Looks like there it's either the rear end or the foot, can't really tell which, that is defining the offside line, whereas half of Weah's body is fully offside including a bunch of body parts that can play the ball

The part of your body that's closest to the goal, that you're also allowed to score a goal with. So, arm under a pre-determined t-shirt sleeve does not count, rest does.

The ball has a sensor in it now that determines exactly when it was kicked which helps them make offside rulings quickly. They only need to use cameras to look at player positions which is easy (because it's always directly across the pitch in a straight line), but they don't need to use cameras to determine when the ball left the player's foot, which was harder because they had to check all kinds of angles.
