A Ukrainian Tu-141 crashed in either Romania or Serbia on the third day of the war. The Soviets came up with some interesting stuff. Putting cameras on an anti-ship missile was a pretty clever improvisation. Crashing it into something is a step back lol. Frosted Flake has issued a correction as of 21:22 on Dec 5, 2022 |

This is excellent news, seeing as the world has only ever been harmed by a militarized Germany. The shift to a purely agrarian economy will blunt their ability to sow destruction, if not their appetite for it.

Yeah, I don’t know how this is going to pencil out considering how much domestic inflation there has been and that the Germans have been still sending some arms and equipment. It seems like they need at least a 15-20% bump to their budget.

Unfortunate that the tacit threat of lack of shipping insurance means the west is going to openly target tankers at sea causing ecological catastrophe. The intentional destruction of Nordstream was desperate, but we can see it was just the beginning. also russia is physically connected to like every asian country by land. they dont need the sea

https://twitter.com/SamRamani2/status/1599854402025627648 Dunno whatever they hit at Engels but that's a Tu-22M3 out of action. RE Russian claims of modified Tu-141s, they've intercepted multiple of those throughout the conflict so either this is a new/modified capability or their AD failed.

Throatwarbler posted:There was supposed to be a "reciprocal visit" between Chinese and Russian bombers a few days ago, with Russian Tu-95s taking off from Shanghai and Hangzhou, I'm not sure if it was revealed which Russian bases the Chinese bombers went to but it was probably Engels? Why the hell would it be Engels? Ukrainka is RIGHT THERE as a reasonable candidate for landing and reasonably close to where China and Russia did their presence patrol near Japan and Korea, and it is not part of a busy wartime airfield. If China wanted to demonstrate inter-operability and cooperation, they can do so without flying an additional 3,500 nautical miles across , which would require aerial refueling support or en-route landing stops to even make it to Engels. It's like 4,000 nm from Shanghai to Engels. If you violate Mongolia's airspace...
