I'm not certain those tweets are serious/bots? I mean if they were a disinformation bot why would they reply to the message they're copying. That's like me trying to steal someone's invention by referencing their original patent, a bit self defeating

The cost of sending a stupid tweet is so low as to mean it doesn't matter, you fill the channels with noise and maybe some of it hits, but the noise itself is worthwhile.

The last one, the one replying to Dolores, is a very confused old person who doesn't get how replying to things on the online works. They've copied the whole text of what they're replying to to call it bullshit. Like if I did this I'm not certain those tweets are serious/bots? It was mentioned earlier in the thread that you can just not consent to DD increases, so let them know that and just wait for your account to be in debit so you know what you actually owe (and can pay accordingly)

I'm in favour of a very high inheritance tax, percentage based, in order to encourage them to keep their money so their kids can inherit it, but also increase the revenue to the state. Of course, increasing the state's revenue means we'll blow it on more aircraft carriers instead of a functioning country but swings and roundabouts innit

My bolding - because as we all know govt/big company reassurances are 100% reliable. Not. [quote] Ministers quietly announced in October it would begin collecting and processing personal information from people’s smart and traditional meters. Experts say it sets a ‘dangerous precedent’ and will affect smart meter customers more because their devices contain more sensitive data. When smart meters first arrived, some feared they would hold too much information on households as they track energy usage in real time. Experts warn this could leave homes vulnerable to burglars if they managed to hack the gadget and work out from readings when nobody was in. But customers were assured the data could only be viewed by their supplier. The introduction of the Energy Bills Support Scheme and Energy Price Guarantee means that information will now be shared with the Government. The first scheme gives customers £66 a month in winter to help with bills, while the guarantee, brought in by former prime minister Liz Truss, caps average energy bills at £2,500. Ministers want to use meter data to help identify fraudsters, such as those who claim energy bills support on an unused second property, for example. There is another thing, poor people don't have anything left to hand down because these tory run nursing homes deliberately bleed them dry. My nan was a dinner lady and had a living will in her early 80s, which was good because she lived to 95 and for the level of care she needed at that age the nursing home would have had every penny she owned if she hadn't given it all away to her great grandchildren. Everyone else got cut out because she didn't trust her children not to spend it on "fancy holidays" and knew her grandchildren would understand.

Bupropion, that's a very rare one in the UK - I didn't even realise you can get it on the NHS (maybe you got it privately though?) I hope someone comes through for you. For what it's worth - and I know it's scant comfort - I'm pretty sure NDRIs don't have nearly as bad withdrawal symptoms as SSRIs or SNRIs. If worst comes to worst, you're going to lose the antidepressant effect (obviously) but you shouldn't be too uncomfortable

My London gp was loving awful to deal with and flat out lied to me several times about prescribing it. Moved up here, explained the situation and was told ‘We need to figure out how to do this, but we’ll find a way’ and had the repeat script three days later. And tbh it’s the antidepressant effect I’m scared about losing- i’ve used sooo many other drugs that just didn’t work (probably because my issue is with noradrenaline or dopamine, not seratonin). And life is stressful as gently caress atm- I’ve been working solidly since mid October with one weekend off the whole time (done a /lot/ of trade and my best month ever, but still broke..), things are stressed in my marriage and Christmas is coming up which always pushes my stress levels through the roof. Bah, I’ll stop whining. Thanks for listening folks.

If you're paying into the unions it's fine going to get advice from all of them, the issue will be if they give you differing advice as ignoring what they tell you in favour of other advice is allowed but obviously annoying for them. The best union will be the one that has the biggest presence at your work, even if generally they seem poor. They'll have the most impact and most likely to have a rep at your work to help you. Unpaid time all depends on the quality of documentation but I think it's more trouble getting it after payroll is told you're no longer working there as your contract as ended and so future payments require more work on their end. With sufficient paperwork you can still show you're owed the money but it's a case of getting it out of them.
