If I’m remembering correctly it wasn’t that the engines were poo poo, on the contrary they were really good, it was Ford reps being taken round one of the Rolls Royce factories and learning that RR was still making these things in what amounted to workshops and using craftsman to individually finish each part for fit. The end result was good but coming from a modern mega factory line…yeah.

Well there’s also the fact that elonjet last posted a full day before the “attack” and it just showed the jet had landed at LAX. Not sure how that would let the antifa super soldier know where a random car was gonna be 24 hours later in a city as big as LA.

I've said this before but it seems to me that the killer feature of Twitter was the ability to embed tweets anywhere. Masterbatedon and Truth and all the others can't seem to do that, and that's one big reason why as designed they can't fulfill the niche Twitter does (neither can Facebook for the same reason). If Elon is determined to kill Twitter and leave the journalistic world with a sucking chest wound it seems like there's a giant gap in the market for someone to make a clone that allows embedding and isn't insane
