Even in a world with billions of people, I struggle to understand how someone this patently pathetic could accrue hundreds of thousands of followers.

lol musk said twitter was on the path to bankruptcy and put his CEO position to a poll but he lost and the idea of him loving off is strong enough for a slight bump in the stock price.

Viscous Soda posted:Since it seems I'm not gonna catch up in the thread, IMO this is Musk realizing that he's on a sinking ship and trying to... "gracefully" abandon ship so he won't get blamed. Someone pointed out that minutes before making this poll, Musk 'liked' another by someone else asking "Is Musk doing a good job running twitter", that person and their audience were largely skewed so it was 90% yes. I think Musk expected the same

That might be even more entertaining. Imagine being able to dunk on Alex Jones in his face 24/7. I bet he'd rage quit almost immediately. It's like these chucklefucks don't understand what "free speech" or the First Amendment are or what they're about. Twitter != the Federal Government. Hell, Twitter isn't even a public company any more.

These assholes and all the other conservative neo-fascists like them only have one over-riding principle; they get to tell you what you can do, you don't get to tell them what they can do. All they really want is the legal means to enforce that dictate, violently if possible.

This is from a few pages back, but I don’t understand at all how airplanes work. How can they produce more tons of Co2 than they burn fuel? Seems counterintuitive. Does the combustion process cause atmospheric oxygen to bind to carbon from the fuel or what?
