My brother was trying to pull the antivac bullshit card, and my Niece was born during the middle of covid, he basically got pulled up quick loving smart by Mum. SIL then got covid, and even though he slept in the same bed as her, didn't end up catching it. He's a bit of hero in his own lunch box though, so I reckon he got it and never admitted it. I think a lot of people just couldn't understand how we arrived at vaccines so 'quickly', due to emergent technologies that enabled it, so they just didn't want to put some 'rush job' in their bodies. Hundreds of thousands of people dying globally and some cunts just couldn't stop being selfish cunts and have some compassion. tl;dr - Your Sister and Mum should tell your Brother to go and get hosed, and he's not to hang around the family until he gets his shots. gently caress him. The finance clause in daughter's contract expires today and the mortgage broker still hasn't confirmed the loan. Vendors told conveyancer that they will extend the clause if necessary, but I don't think that's in writing yet. Gonna be a long day, I think.

gently caress everything about Centrelink. Been absolutely hosed around for a month, and I still haven't been paid. Former employer withheld page 2 of my separation certificate, so my initial claim was knocked back, and I've only just gotten it. Spent 3 loving hours on the phone trying to get documents to them, in the absolute perfect pristine loving order that they want it, and just constantly put back on hold for 15min at a time while they check uploads. Now been told it'll take another week to assess, and I can't afford to get anyone presents for Christmas. Just absolutely dehumanising.

Finance got unconditionally approved this morning, although for some reason the agent has the sold date as 19th on the listing. Settlement is in 5 weeks. Grandson got his RSA today and is doing his RCG tomorrow. I might see what barista courses are available, too. All in all a good day, although I didn't get any housework done.

This person was getting knocked back because 300k - 200k +100k = 600k and therefore had too much equity in the house. It took explaining this to 3 different people before one of them said, wait, you're right, its 300k-200k, you only have 100k equity in the house (and then still tried to gently caress them over because you cant have assests over 150k to get familiy benefit thing they were applying for. The brainworms you have to have to think anyone actively WANTS to engage with centrelink... i wish i was making this poo poo up.

Hooray, our first Severe Tropical Cyclone of the season! Darian! Thankfully, it's way out in the Indian Ocean and moving away from Australia, developing from a tropical low formed 13th Dec before charging up to a full-fledged Cyclone on the 18th, going from Cat#1 to Cat#5 within two days! This gives us a glimpse in to what's possible this coming season.  There's currently another low developing in the Timor Sea NNW of Darwin.
