This is Ichabod, whom I've started calling Isaac.  He came home yesterday with his bonded foster brother Elvis.  Isaac is beautiful, and hard to photograph, and has been labeled by my brother "a goober".

I didn't know about this thread until just recently, but I have a glorious black boy to share! Four years ago he was dropped in my lap, I named him Calvin and he grew into the softest, needy little cuddle bug. Well not so little anymore. He has a very high pitched voice so I nicknamed him Squeaky.                   I love when he sits on my hip  I am going to upgrade my phone soon and the better camera should be able to capture his glorious coat in the sun better than my current one

Omg squeaky looks so much like Commander Shepard. She's got some white dusting on her kitten coat but if this is seeing into the future it looks like she's gonna be sleek black. I guess we'll see!

This guy, this guy... Last night I was sitting with one of my sons in my lap showing him an old 90s PC game and suddenly I feel a sharp pain in my side. I scream and my son gets scared and jumps away too. Then this guy jumps into my lap and makes himself comfortable, looking real smug. My SO who was in the room said between fits of laughter that he stood next to the chair and meowed at us but we didn't hear him, so he gave me a whack.

A black kitten showed up at my door. Not the first stray I've seen in my neighborhood, but this one was extremely friendly. Ran right up to me and my wife to get pets and treats. When we opened our front door she ran right in, but our dog barked at her and she ran right out.  We put up on NextDoor that we found her, which is about the only thing NextDoor is good for besides racism. No one claimed her. We've been putting food and water and a soft place to sleep for her. She dived into the food like she hadn't eaten in days. I'm not sure what to do if no one claims her.
