I guess the ACC goes either in France with their relation with Notre Dame, or.... the Balkans? My comparisons with EUFA are not that good.

gently caress Ohio State except for their kicker, who I feel absolutely awful for. I couldn't quite tell but did a Georgia player maybe get a hand on the ball to knock it off-course? Disappointed about Michigan losing, but back to back conference titles is pretty rad. Plus I'll always have the memory of watching the second half of that Ohio State game with my mom, after over a decade of having the stink of a loss hanging over the end of Thanksgiving (couldn't see them last year, so it's been a while for me!)

Unless you wanted them to run the ball into blitzes against a defense that was pretty solid against non CJ Stroud runs I don't think Day did too bad from a theoretical standpoint in the last set of downs. They were still trying to move the ball. Georgia just got there with their pass rush on the last couple of plays and there was nothing Stroud could do it seems to me and they were stuck with that long kick. I suppose they could have run another short route on 3rd down to get a little closer. e: I guess if we're talking the whole 4th quarter, yeah, there are some questions there. Stroud snapping the ball at roughly six minutes with 40 on the playclock and the clock ticking down after that injury was insanely stupid, OSU has the worst clock management it’s infuriating

Didn't really watch the semis except for catching the 3rd quarter of TCU at a bar and the final minute of Georgia. Feel safe saying they were probably the best playoff games yet though since playoff games are usually huge turds.

They were already shorthanded at linebacker, then Chaz Chambliss was injured last night. Freshmen are apparently who are left on the depth chart. Darnell Washington was in a boot after going out. Washington's not the best pass catcher, but he's massive and he blocks. On the flip side, it looks like both Arian Smith and AD Mitchell are both healthy. Neither made any measurable contribution during the regular season. I think we might be in for another shootout and I'm perfectly fine with that. As much as I want Georgia to win, I wouldn't be upset with TCU. The Frogs are cool and good.

Noah Ruggles has been painfully average the entire time he’s been at OSU and even his makes between 30 and 40 look like absolute rear end most of the time. The idea that he was going to hit that 50 yarder is laughable. I get that you have to try the field goal there but they absolutely needed to try to get about 20 more yards before they attempted that.
