i know precisely zero people give a poo poo because I was the only dumbass to put a star ocean game on their list (i think?), but i did end up beating the last boss with 7 minutes to go in 2022 so i ultimately managed to keep my completely arbitrary list rule intact for 2022! hooray! my brain is broken!

I have caught up on this thread, so many good lists. Based on that, my to-play list for 2023 (purely based on games mentioned here and no new releases yet) is 55 games lol (there are two other games that weren't on anyone's lists but I know I need to play)

I don't know if anyone had Chinatown Detective Agency on their list either (the whole outside research to find evidence thing sounds neat) or Chained Echoes (might have been too late for most people to finish a long JRPG?)
