That's Finland for you, 17 euro is standard pricing for Kotipizza, who were the original nationwide pizza chain here and are still probably the biggest, despite offering comparable quality at 50% more price as your random cornershop immigrant-run places do. And I suspect that I-word there is the explanation for why they can charge so much more for the same stuff: some Finns probably still share the opinion that it's higher quality or worth more because most Kotipizza franchises are owned by native Finns and the whole place has kind of a bougy vibe. e: Oh, on the pizza: apparently the base has some amount of rye in it. They advertise it as a "rye fiber base". Looks drat good though

There's something about the pockmarked and strange texture that's like "yep, this is an organ," that I find kind of revolting. You couldn't pay me enough money to eat a kidney or a testicle.

I have absolutely nothing against the texture of organs, nor do I think that organs are somehow less edible, in general, than muscle tissue or whatever else. BUT. Kidneys taste like pee, at best, and a truck stop bathroom diabetes ward at worst. Heart, brains, testes, stomach, blood, liver, some intestine, lung, and bones all have a place in my diet (and on pizza!) but kidneys can gently caress off
