I got the dog with it right at the start, and the spider after like 3 minutes of struggling with the timing and then having to spend another etank. It’s probably not super useful on the bosses unless you know the speedrun timings going in.

it's good for a couple easy boss rematches, the sigma dog, and sigma 1 but otherwise pretty difficult to use anywhere else the shoryuken in mmx2 is even worse because you're locked into the punch animation / arc the entire time and can easily gently caress up and fall down a pit or onto spikes if you screw up the angle. it's really satisfying to use it against the final sigma phase though

sigmas dog is pretty easy, you can go into th left corner and bait him into jumping over and down and can hadouken whenever. sigmas way harder and you only get one shot
