It's why people like the Chapos basically have to live in a major coastal city - those are pretty much the only places where well-off young ("young" being like <50 here lol) people exist in significant numbers. In a place like Memphis, the only well-off younger adults I can think of are doctors and some lawyers (who all have high work hours). But in these other cities you have tech and media young people who make a lot of money while also having normal (or even less than normal) work hours.
