The main focus is actually more on how to punish Eritrean leader Afwerki for the war. He claims Abiy promised him that Ethiopia would fight the Eritreans if they did not withdraw from Tigray.

It reads to me like they're going to back a play by Abiy to end the issue militarily and see if the Eritreans blink. I dunno if the US is in any shape to support another military adventure in the world with Ukraine going on, though.

I can believe Abiy told Feltman that Ethiopia would fight Eritrea, because who cares what Feltman claims he was told behind closed doors. These US special envoys change every six months, easier to just tell them what they want to hear.

year-end haul is in that’s a lot more meth, up to 9.7 tons from 5.5 tons in 2021. it has grown scary fast!! it didn’t seem to be much of a thing a decade ago.  coke haul seems light - 793 kg when last year there was 2.8 tons. heroin is also light — down to 4.9 tons from 22.2 tons in 2021. wonder if this has to do with Afghanistan. pics of dogs destroying playtime

I should start doing that it's super cool and just started taking off in latin america and africa in the last couple years. just hover over a town, type in restaurants, and click through the pics and vids people post. most are crazy recent google maps is decent for self-posted pics not attached to a page via streetview but the real king was when google earth had a similar system that they discontinued like 3-4 years ago. i kept a screenshot folder of local monuments from around the world that i thought looked interesting
